Having played
golf in the Costa del Sol for over 15 years, I can help you choose courses within easy reach of the Casares
holiday apartment.
I have picked out what I consider the best courses within easy driving. The prices I have stated are approximate and can vary greatly on season, as there are often some good offers. It is usually advisable to book through an agent as they get the better deals.
The high season for
Costa del Sol golfing generally runs
from late
Sept. till the end Nov and mid March till
the
end of April.

I think a good time
to play golf in the Costa del Sol
is Sept and March although this is often the time when maintenance is carried out, hence lower prices. An agent can normally check on this beforehand.
Most
Costa del Sol golfing courses are 'hillier' in general than the UK, but if you are reasonably fit, I recommend that you will appreciate them better if you walk. However for some courses, it is essential to buggy although this isn't always included in the price.
Courses where you will need a golf buggy are marked

I have rated these Costa del Sol golfing courses in respect of 'value for money'.
