DUQUESA (full name
PUERTO DE LA DUQUESA) - Neighbouring Sabinillas is Duquesa centered around a marina with boats coming and going.
The marina is lined with bars and restaurants,
a truly international place to stop. Go on a boat trip, fishing trip and watersports
from the marina. Duquesa is flanked by miles of uncrowded, sandy beaches.
ESTEPONA
- A 10 minute drive takes you to Estepona, with its seafront promenade
along the beach and marina (Estepona Port)beyond with restaurants
and bars. There is a busy Market at the bull ring every Wednesday.
Estepona has a nightclub and bars. Nearby is
Selwo Adventura Nature Park, see animals in semi wild conditions - tigers, bears, camels, elephants.
CASARES
VILLAGE - A 10 minute drive into the hills
immediately inland from Casares del Sol leads you up winding
roads to the picture postcard traditional white Spanish
village of Casares - virtually untouched by tourism and
definitely should be one of your places to see. Wander through
the tiny streets and climb to teh Arab battlements to see far

SOTOGRANDE -
Sotogrande is the largest privately owned resort in
Andalucia and
built up since 1962. Centred around a marina with restaurants, bars
and shops, and beaches beyond.
Sotogrande is famous for its golf courses and polo fields.
PUERTO BANUS
- A 20 minute drive gets you to glitzy Puerto Banus,
home to the rich and famous on the Costa del Sol. With
the most famous marina in the Europe surrounded by
designer shops, boutiques and bars, a must on your list of
places to go in the Costa del Sol. Enjoy a stroll next to the impressive yachts and luxury boats.
MARBELLA Next door to Puerto Banus and another jet set haven of the Costa del Sol. With beach, esplanade,
designer shops, bars, restaurants and some of the finest tapas bars in Andalucia. The old town on Marbella has a maze of small boutiques,
shops and cafes around 'The Orange Square' with
rows of orange trees.
GIBRALTAR
A piece of Britain in the sun with duty free
shopping when you cross the border into
Gibraltar. Many UK shops
on the main high street of Gibraltar, all at duty free prices.
LA
LINEA At the foot of Gibraltar and part of mainland Spain is La Linea. Boat trips set off from the La Linea marina into the Starits of Gibraltar, one of the places to see dolphins swimming wild. Although many carrier ships travel through the waters here, large pods of dolphins live in these clean waters between Spain, Gibraltar and
Morocco.
RONDA Drive
50 minutes into the heart of Andalucia up the tortuous, scenic road through the mountain range to Ronda.
Or catch a train from Algeciras to Ronda and relax as you view the spectacular scenery across the Costa del Sol. Ronda is on top of a rocky projection and one of the most interesting towns in
Andalucia. With dramatic escarpments and the deep El Tajo gorge.

Granada is famous for the Moorish Alhambra palace and
Gaucin a large white village at the edge of Ronda mountains famous for its annual 'bull run'.
And Malaga the major coastal city of Andalucia and former home of Picasso
and now the Picasso Museum. Unfortunately Malaga is often neglected by holiday makers as just an airport, but the city
of Malaga is much more than an airport.
