CASARES WHITE TOWN:
10 minute drive from Casares del Sol into the Andalucian hills up winding roads to the traditional white Spanish village of Casares - virtually untouched by tourism. Wander through the tiny streets of houses perched on the hillside. Great views from the Arab battlements.

SABINILLAS:
2 minutes drive from apartment to Sabinillas, a traditional Spanish fishing town. Seafront promenade lined with restaurants and bars, shops, banks and a long sandy beach with fishermans boats. Sabinillas has a market on the esplanade on Fridays and at the fair ground on Sundays.

DUQUESA (PUERTO DE LA DUQUESA): Walk 3 minutes along the seafront from Sabinillas to Duquesa. Centered around a marina with bars and restaurants serving international food styles. Boat trips, fishing trips, watersports from the marina. Duquesa is flanked by long uncrowded, sandy beaches.

ESTEPONA:
Drive 10 minute from Casares to Estepona. The old town of whitewashed houses and narrow streets with shops, restaurants and bars. Estepona beach with promenade and beach bars leading to the marina or 'Port'. Restaurants and bars in Estepona Port. Markets on Wednesday and Sunday at the marina. Estepona has a nightclub and bars. Great views from Estepona mountain.

PUERTO BANUS:
25 minute drive from Casares to glitzy Puerto Banus, with the most famous marina in Europe. Home to the Costa del Sol rich and famous. Designer shops and bars.
MARBELLA by Puerto Banus, another jet set haven on the Costa del Sol. Old town Marbella with niche shops. 'Orange Square'.

GIBRALTAR:
25 minute drive to Gibraltar, a piece of Britain in the sun with duty free shopping. Visit 'The Rock' of Gibraltar, St Michaels cave, the famous Barbary apes, Gibraltar's new marina and duty free shopping. Currency is UK pounds. Passports needed to visit Gibraltar.
