BEACHES ON THE COSTA DEL SOL- Miles of unspoilt beaches along this stretch of Costa del Sol, many with blue flag ratings. Scattered along the way and right on the beaches are chiringuitos (beach bars),
one of key things to do in Costa del Sol is a welcome drink and good food. The bay of Casares has one of the finest sweeps of clean sand on the coast.

The mountains behind the Casares apartment are given National Park Status and as such there are walking treks available for all distances that cater for people from 20 min walk to the more adventurous 2 hour trek.
Other things to do in Costa del Sol, especially in
the Casares area are mountain bike rides from near the top of the mountain down to the bottom are available and offer quite breathtaking views and it is quite a pleasant trip.

BIRD WATCHING - Plenty of bird watching in the mountains around Casares, this is the main migration route over to Africa, especially for birds of prey, being the shortest crossing via Gibraltar to Africa. See kestrals and peregrine falcons. The rare Hoopoe can be seen at El Paraiso golf course. |
